The A. James Clark School of Engineering serves as a catalyst for high-quality research, innovation, and learning, is dedicated to accelerating entrepreneurship and preparing our students to create innovations to address the needs of the 21st century. The Clark School is ranked 10th among public engineering schools and 20th overall in the 2022 US News graduate rankings, has over 200 faculty, 15 NAE members, research expenditures of $148M, 8 departments, and approximately 4200 undergraduate and 2100 graduate students. With the recent completion of two new buildings, A. James Clark Hall, and the E.A. Fernandez IDEA Factory and a third building under design, the college is a growing and dynamic environment for education and research.
